Summer is not over yet. Therefore, Piedmont College is hosting a “Fun & Fit” camp for boys and girls ages 5-15 on Aug. 3-6 at the Johnny Mize Athletic Center in Demorest.

Directed by Piedmont basketball coaches Jamie Purdy and Greg Neeley, the camp puts an emphasis on motor skill development and sportsmanship. Activities will include basketball, cooperative games, exercises, kickball, soccer, strength training, tennis and ultimate Frisbee.

The camp is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with supervised drop-offs starting at 7:30 a.m. Participants who register before July 27 will receive a camp T-shirt.

Camp costs $125 per child with a $15 discount for siblings. For the three-day option of Monday through Wednesday, cost is $105.
