Two strong-willed characters — one the King of Siam and the other a widow and tutor — will face off in the highly popular Rogers and Hammerstein musical for the next two weeks in Clarkesville. “The King and I” will open at 7:30 p.m. today in the Habersham Community Theater, 1370 Washington St., Clarkesville. Other performance dates are 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1-2 and 7-9 and 2 p.m. Aug. 3 and 10.
