Set in 1862 in Siam, English widow Anna Leonowens, with her young son in tow, arrives at the Royal Palace in Bangkok to serve as tutor to the king’s many children and wives.

The King is largely considered to be a barbarian by residents of the West, and he seeks Anna’s assistance to change his image, if not his ways. With both keeping a firm grip on their respective traditions and values, Anna and the King grow to understand, and respect one another in a truly unique love story.

The two main roles will be Kristy Morrison as Anna and Scott Bishop as the King. Other prominent characters include Jane Marie Price as Tuptim, Austin Solesbee as Lun Tha, Sharlene Kaye as Lady Thiang, Hendricks Coates as Prince Chululongkorn and Randy Warren as Anna’s son, Louis.

Other actors are Matt McClurg as Captain Orton, Mark Burke as the Kralahome, Bobby Burke as the Interpreter, Melvin Thompson as Phra Alack and Autumn Samsel as Princess Ying Yaowalak. Child actors are Maredith Anderson, Annabelle and Madelynne Brackett, Dakota, Nevaeh and Nicole Bragg, Sofia Espinosa, Chloe Guzzetta, Makayla Ryals, Asher Samsel, Lizzie Sanders, Caroline Schapansky, Ariel Schwartz, Jobie Tench, Jordan Vena, Sam Warren, Ava Wehrstein and Megan Zimmerman. Matthew Espinosa and Joe Flores will portray twins. Other wives of the King are Lindsey Brackett, Renee Carr, Olivia Espinosa, Alyssa Greene, Cheyenne and Savannah Hayes, Diane and Grace Knect, Jenifer Kulow, Madeline McClurg, April Michael and Lynne Warren.
