Holly tunes up a big show for New Years Eve

The Holly New Year’s Eve Show & Gala

Visitors can end the year and greet 2013 with a night of classic songs with a show and gala at the Holly Theater in Dahlonega.

The show, “La Review,” will feature favorite songs from “Cabaret,” “Chicago” and “Sweet Charity” mixed with vintage favorites from the jazz era performed by some of Atlanta and New York’s top talent.

The show is performed by the touring company DD&C, which brought the show “Embraceable You” to the Holly.

From the Broadway stage to touring across the U.S. and Europe, DD&C’s cast has an impressive list of credits that include “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Boy from Oz,” “Chicago,” “Cabaret” and “Tommy.”

After the show, visitors can stay for the black tie optional gala. DJ Tommy Pirone from the Lingo Lounge will spin up dance tunes to ring in the new year. The evening includes hor d’oeuvres, champagne at midnight and the Atlanta peach drop on the big screen TV.
