Gainesville native Amy Henderson is returning to her hometown once again to raise funds for the Creeper Trail Ride to End Cancer.

The benefit concert will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, at Luna’s restaurant in downtown Gainesville. The suggested donation is $10 at the restaurant at 200 Main St. SW, Suite 102, in Gainesville.

Because of last year’s fundraiser and others, the Penny French Garrett foundation has donated large amounts of money to MD Anderson Cancer Center to help in the fight against rare carcinomas.

Henderson plays the guitar, harmonica and bass. And she has recorded her own original CD titled, “Back Down.” She also has collaborated with her acoustic trio, the Orderlies and the all-girls band, Dirty Blonde.
