With Thanksgiving only three weeks away, many people are gearing up for the holiday shopping season. This weekend many consumers may get an early start Nov. 7-9 at the 22nd annual Marketplace at the Gainesville Civic Center. A preview party is set for 6:30-9:30 p.m. today with consumers getting a sneak peek at the goodies from more than 70 merchants from eight states.
