The Gardens of the Historic Mauldin House have been transformed into a magical fairy and dragon village.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 21, Clarkesville Better Hometown and its event partners will present “The Magical Gardens of Mauldin.”
“The Magical Gardens of Mauldin” invites children of all ages to participate in a variety of fairy and dragon-related activities. Kids can stroll through the village on a magical nature walk, and spot the hidden dragons that lurk on the other side of the garden.
The event will host live theatrical performances and children can enjoy magic tricks, face-painting, a dragon egg hunt, arts and crafts, and storytelling. Kids who attend are encouraged to wear a costume.
“We are tremendous response to last year’s event. We are blessed to have members of our community who come out to support this event” says Better Hometown Manager, Mary Beth Horton. “Local artists, local businesses and volunteers donate their time to make this a memorable experience, for all ages.”
The Historic Mauldin House is located at 458 Jefferson Street. For more information, call 706-754-2220 or visit clarkesvillega.com.
