A daylight trip to the zoo is the average summertime activity. But before school starts, the North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland will open its scenery close to dusk for a behind-the-scene peek at the animals.

A sunset tour will be 6:15-8:45 p.m. Aug. 30 at 2912 Paradise Valley Road. The tour will include a personal guided tour, a meet-and-greet with some exotic baby animals such as wolf pups and refreshments as the sun goes down. A picture time will be provided with wolf pups.

The schedule of the tour will be 30 minutes to check in and visit the petting zoo, 30 minutes of a guided wildlife walk, 20 minutes of a hay ride and camel encounter and 30 minute to watch the sunset.

Reserved tickets are $45 for adults; $42 for children and free for infants. At the gate, tickets are $50 for adults and $47 for children.

Space is limited. To reserve a spot, email info@wildlifewonders.org or call 706-348-7279.
