Classic tunes from “Annie,” “Oklahoma,” “Les Miserables” and other Broadway favorites will be heard Saturday night as the Dawson Community Chorale presents its spring concert “Opening Night.”

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at First Baptist Church at 900 Ga. 9 N in Dawsonville.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for Bowen Center for the Arts members and free for students. Tickets are available at the door.

Sponsored by the Bowen arts center, the Chorale is a mixed choir of 30 members. The group gives two concerts each year. The fall concert is often a more serious work of music, sometimes with orchestra. And the spring concert tends to feature lighter music.

After the concert, audience members may enjoy refreshments at a reception.
