The Voices of North Georgia will perform a slate of musical selections from films for "Let's Go to the Movies!," the group's latest set of concerts scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Lakewood Baptist Church Chapel in Gainesville.

Louise Meyer of Gainesville, a soprano with the group and ticket sales organizer, said the variety of the tunes - and their familiarity - should appeal to audiences.

"We do a lot of different music, which is always fun to do," Meyer said. "We don't really stick to one style."

Meyer said the group will perform songs from "The Wizard of Oz," "Sister Act," "Phantom of the Opera" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" for "Let's Go to the Movies."

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $5 for children age 11 and younger. Lakewood Baptist Church is located at 2235 Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville. For more information, call 678-943-7255.
