For those of you not familiar with body sprays, they’re basically perfumes that are not as strong as colognes. They’re generally cheaper than colognes and some people use them as a deodorant. They come in a variety of scents ranging from cotton candy to Greek isles to Old Spice.
So what’s the tip? Consider a fragrance that you like and spritz your pillows and bed sheets. Believe it or not, you can even buy body sprays that smell like fresh linens. I would especially consider this tip on guest beds that haven’t been used in a while. (Contributed by Rachael Reksten)

Is one of your windshield washer nozzles not working? Odds are there is some debris in the nozzle that you need to remove. One method of doing this is to use a can of compressed air. Take the straw that comes with the can and put it up against the nozzle. One short blast should be all that you need to apply.
I was in Santa Barbara, Calif., a couple of weeks ago on business. When I left my hotel to go to dinner, I discovered that the main street in town had been closed to auto traffic and a farmers market had been set up. My big discovery was the Santa Barbara Pistachio Co. It’s a family-owned business that grows organic pistachios.
The cool thing about this company is that they make gourmet-flavored pistachios. The flavors range from onion-garlic roast, chile-lemon and hickory smoked to red hot habañero. You can order them from their Web site: www.santabarbarapistachios.com.
Now its time for tire tips! (OK, I never said all of my tips are sexy). Never put two different size tires on the front of your car. If you do, your car will pull to one direction. Never mix radial and nonradial tires. If you do, your car will drive kind of squirrelly and it’ll seem like you have a flat tire. (Contributed by Bobby Glover).
There’s an e-mail going around that says titanium rings can only be removed from swollen fingers by amputation. Baloney. The grade of titanium used in rings can easily be cut by bolt cutters, a jewelers’ saw, etc. Remember, if you receive an e-mail and you’re not sure if it’s true, check it out on www.snopes.com.
This is an old tip, but maybe you haven’t heard of it. If your sink’s drain is getting clogged with grease, pour 1/2 cup of baking soda and a 1/2 cup of white vinegar down it. Wait a few minutes and then pour steaming water down the drain. The combination of baking soda, vinegar and hot water turns the grease into soap and glycerin and will allow the clog to pass through.
