Nikki Harris, of Flowery Branch, and Calli Hardison, of East Hall, were named Pitchers of the Year when the All-Region softball team for 8-4A was released on Thursday. 

Harris, a left-handed junior has committed to play at the University of North Carolina, while Hardison will play next year at the University of West Georgia. 

Also from Hall County on first-team All-Region are East Hall’s Gracie Ausborn, and Flowery Branch’s Savannah Rutledge, Casey Beaver and Makaela Davis. 

Earning Player of the Year honors were North Oconee’s Kendall Wells and Casey Holloway.
