The Riverside Military Academy track and field program took first in the Battle of the Border on Saturday at Woodland High. Leading the Eagles, Isaac Teasley took first in the triple jump (44 feet), 400 meter (50 seconds) and ran the anchor leg of the winning 1600-meter relay team.
Teasley finished second in the 200, while also running the anchor leg of the 400 relay for the defending Class A private schools state champions.
Also for the Eagles, Jermaine Harris won the high jump (6-feet, 4-inches), and was on both of their relay teams.
Orlando Stevens won the long jump for Riverside Military (22-5), while Lamar Gordon won the discus (143).
