Todd Redmond pitched a six-inning complete game and allowed three solo home runs for the Gwinnett Braves in a 3-1 loss to the Durham Bulls in a rain-shortened game on Tuesday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
With the loss, the Triple-A G-Braves (46-39) fall into a first-place tie with the Bulls (46-39) in the International League's Southern Division.
Gwinnett second baseman Ruben Gotay scored its only run after he reached base on a walk. Shortstop Brandon Hicks' hit streak came to an end at 11 games for the G-Braves.
Gwinnett visits the Charlotte Knights at 7 p.m. tonight.
