Gwinnett Braves outfielder Jose Constanza had five multiple-hit games and for a .613 average last week en route to being named the International League Player of the Week.
For the week, Constanza had 19 hits, five stolen bases with a .647 on base percentage. His best outing was last Tuesday with four hits, including a triple and first home run of the season in a 4-1 win against the Toledo Mud Hens.
Currently, Constanza is second in batting (.356) and third in stolen bases (17) in the International League.
Constanza, 27, signed with the Atlanta Braves during the offseason. Last year, he played at Triple-A Columbus is the Cleveland Indians' organization.
