Scraton-Wilkes Barre took a 6-3, extra-inning win from the Gwinnett Braves on Sunday in Lawrenceville, breaking open a 3-3 tie with two outs in the top of the 10th. The G-Braves still hold a half-game lead in the International League South Division.
The loss spoiled a strong outing from Gwinnett starter Todd Redmond, who yielded one run on five hits while striking out seven in six innings. Jordan Schafer led the G-Braves offense, going 2 for 5 with a home run and two RBIs.
Gwinnett and Scraton-Wilkes Barre meet again at 7 tonight.
