Left hander Yohan Flande pitched six innings and allowed three runs and six hits for the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves in a 4-3 loss to the Durham Bulls on Tuesday in Durham, N.C. With the loss, Gwinnett (75-62) is tied with Lehigh Valley for the wildcard spot in the International League.
Gwinnett first baseman Mauro Gomez connected on his 33rd double of the season and drove in a run. Right fielder Stefan Gartrell had two hits with a run scored and a double.
Gwinnett faces Norfolk at 6:15 tonight in Norfolk, Va.
