Golfers at Chicopee Woods will tee it up for a good cause on Thursday. Spread out over the course, 216 golfers will play in the Medical Center Open, with proceeds benefitting My Sister’s Place in Gainesville. The Medical Center Open has raised more than $2 million dollars since its inception, along with more than $3.6 million raised for local charities, according to Chicopee Woods Director of Golf Jim Arendt.
