Gainesville grad Johnson's Tennessee rape trial pushed back again

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The trial dates for Tennessee football players A.J. Johnson and Michael Williams are getting pushed back again as they face aggravated rape charges. Knox County Assistant District Attorney General Sean McDermott confirmed Tuesday that the trials for both Johnson, a Gainesville High graduate, and Williams have been delayed. The Knoxville News-Sentinel first reported that Knox County Criminal Court Judge Bob McGee had put the trials on hold.
