The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played its monthly individual flighted strokes competition Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.
In the white tee first flight, first place went to the team of Leroy Harper, second place went to A.J. Kiker and third place finished in a tie between Gene Weschler and Dick Bachman.
In the white tee second flight, Bill Sutton and Carlyle Cox tied for first, Stu Virgin finished third and Eddie Johnson finished fourth.
In the gold tee first flight, Roy Lyle and Bud Clegg tied for first, Bob Henderson and Jere Cochran finished tied for second and J.B. Johnston and Ed Pledger tied for fifth.
In the gold tee second flight, Tony Denote finished first, Rolf Legbandt and Rop Hopley tied for second, Milton Martin finished fourth, Leo Whalen finished fifth and Don Pirkle finished sixth.
Closest to the pin winners were Clay Bartlett (No. 3), Bob Henderson (No. 5), Bachman (No. 12) and Cox (No. 17).
The Tuesday Luna’s golf group played this week at Hammers Glen Golf Course in Homer.
First place went to the team of Randy Gord, Steve Hill, Tommy Lowery and Don Rogers, Second place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr, Jimmy Harritos, Cleve Brown and Stan Davidson Sr. Third place went to the team of Rob Emerson, Royce Deaton, Johnny Nix and Jim Cornett.
Closest to the pin winners were Davidson Sr. (No. 3), Lowery (No. 6), Gordy (No. 17) and Gene Weschler (No. 13).
The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association completed its Spring Tournament, a two-day low net event, on Tuesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.
In the first flight, Terry Maginnis finished first, Mona White finished second and Paula Pilgrim finished third.
In the second flight, Jewell Floyd finished first, Carolyn Palmer finished second and Nancy Norris finished third.
Johann Stone was the closet to the pin on No. 3 and No. 17.
The Wednesday Dogfight golf group played this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
First place went to the team of Darren Chandler, Roger Stapp, Jerry Horton and Gary Mott. Second place went to the team of Bob Arendt, Gayle Gibson and Vince Jonte.
Frank Bambarger finished first, followed by Horton in second, Geoff Archibald in third, Mike Tilson in fourth, Arendt in fifth and Keith Fitzgerald and Tommy Calhoun in sixth.
