The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team defeated Mifflinburg (Pa.) 63-51 on Monday in the KSA Tournament at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla.

With the win, the Lions (5-5) will play in the winners bracket finals at 10:45 a.m. today.

Tyler Ward led Lakeview Academy with 16 points. Daniel Olvera also scored in double figures, with 15.

Zack Hay and Brandon Foster each scored 14 points for Mifflinburg.

MLK boys 57,
Flowery Branch boys 56 OT

Ishmael Hollis led the Falcons (4-2) with 14 and Brian Whelchel added 12 on Monday night in the Campbell High Holiday tournament in Smyrna. Rashad Tate added 10 for Flowery Branch.

Shonzikio Williams led Martin Luther King with 14 and Darrius Person added 12.

Flowery Branch faces the Campbell/Pebblebrook loser at 5:30 p.m. today in Smyrna.

East Hall boys 66,
Archbishop Rummell (La.) 46

Marquel Smith had 12 points for the Vikings on Monday in the Playground Classic on Monday in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Kymmon Woods and Kevin Blackwell each finished with 11 points for East Hall.

East Hall plays Mandeville (La.) for the tournament title at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Lumpkin County boys 58,
Forsyth Central 45

Shawn Chapman scored 17 points and E.J. Young added 16 points for the Indians in the Forsyth Central Christmas Tournament on Monday in Cumming.

Austin Tolbert also scored in double figures for Lumpkin County (6-3), with 12.

Jeremy Long led Forsyth Central with 26 points.

Lumpkin County continues tournament play against West Forsyth at 1:30 p.m. today.

Forsyth Central girls 66, Lumpkin County 48

Ashley Brown led the Lady Indians with 17 points and six rebounds in the Forsyth Central Christmas Tournament on Monday in Cumming.

Cara Malone scored 14 points and had four assists for Lumpkin County (1-7). Kelsie Smith added eight points nine rebounds for the Lady Indians.

Lumpkin County continues tournament play against West Forsyth at noon today.

Buford girls 53, Brookwood 35

Jocelyn Danley scored 15 points and Andraya Carter scored 13 points for the Wolves in the Deep South Classic on Monday in Snellville.

Buford (6-1) faces Peachtree Ridge in the tournament championship at 5:30 p.m. today at Brookwood.
