The Lakeview boys’ cross country team secured a berth to the Class A state championships with a third-place finish in the Region 8-A meet on Thursday in Athens. Lewis Brooks led the team with a seventh-place finish with a time of 17 minutes, 54 seconds. Dalton Snyder finished in 11th with a time of 18:19, and Dustin Snyder came in 16th with an 18:35.
