Lakeview Academy carried a double-digit lead into halftime, and the Lady Lions rolled to a 69-54 win over host North Hall to open the 57th-annual Lanierland tournament in Gainesville.

The fifth-seeded Lions play winner of Johnson and top-seeded Flowery Branch on Thursday at Gainesville High School.

Three starters amassed double figures for the Lady Lions, as Hanna Grogan led the Lady Lions with 29 points, while Jackie Allen and Christen Copeland had 11 apiece.

Sadie Cleveland led the Lady Trojans with 13 points, followed by Taylor Anne Kelley with 12 and Camila Howell with 11.
