The Jefferson High baseball team picked up a region win with a 6-1 defeat of Banks County on Tuesday in Jefferson.
Chris Beck pitched a complete game for the Dragons (11-2, 7-1 Region 8B-AA), striking out 12 and allowing no earned runs.
Stephen Smith was 2-for-3 for Banks County.
Jefferson faces Milton at 6 p.m. today at North Georgia College and State University. Banks County plays host to Oglethorpe County at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
