The West Hall High girls basketball team used a late surge in the fourth quarter to defeat Habersham Central 40-37 on Monday in Oakwood.
Nicole Breseman led the Lady Spartans’ (5-3) surge with seven fourth-quarter points.
Jayla Moon led West Hall with 15 points.
Amber Dodd led Habersham Central with 11 points. Maile Stephenson added 10 points for the Lady Raiders (4-3).
West Hall visits Jackon County at 7 p.m. Friday. Habersham Central faces White County in the Piedmont College tournament at 4 p.m. Friday.
Pacelli girls 44, Dawson County 39 (Saturday)
Morgan Bennett and Jessi Phillips each scored 10 points for the Lady Tigers on Saturday at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
Bria Walkon lead Pacelli with 25 points.
Dawson County plays host to North Oconee at 6 p.m. Friday.
