Hunter Atkinson led the West Hall Spartans with 25 points in a 67-45 win over East Jackson at the White County Tip-Off Tournament on Tuesday in Cleveland.

Tyswon Cantrell added 19 points for the Spartans (2-0), and Deandre Peoples had seven points.

The Spartans travel to St. Pius at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Atlanta.

WEST HALL GIRLS 48, EAST JACKSON 42: LeNiesha Kearse led West Hall with a double-double, scoring 17 points with 12 rebounds in a win over East Jackson on Tuesday at the White County Tip-Off Tournament in Cleveland.

Kaelyn Gattis recorded 12 points for the Lady Spartans (2-0) and Maia Booker added five.

West Hall travels to St. Pius at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Atlanta.

JOHNSON BOYS 71, CASS 53: Carter Cagle led the Knights with 16 points in a win over Cass in the final game of the Johnson Tip-Off Classic on Tuesday in Oakwood.

Roderick English scored 15 points for Johnson, and Montrell McKenzie added another double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Ty Cockfield also recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Drew Dunham chipped in five points and 10 assists.

Johnson (3-0) returns to action against Lakeview Academy on Tuesday in Oakwood.

LUMPKIN COUNTY GIRLS 27, ANDREWS, N.C 25: The Lumpkin County Lady Indians evened their season record at 1-1, with a 37-25 win over Andrews, N.C. in the second round of the Glenda Gooch Foundation Tip-Off Tournament on Tuesday in Blairsville.

Lacey Robinson led all scorers with 16 points and nine rebounds. Morgan Wood had 10 points, and Dakota Sullens added eight points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and five steals.

Wood and Sullens both made the All-Tournament Team.

The Lady Indians play host to Dawson County next Tuesday in Dahlonega.

LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 49, ANDREWS N.C. 35: Jacob Haskel had 13 points for the Indians in a win over Andrews N.C. in the second round of the Glenda Gooch Foundation Tip-Off Tournament on Tuesday in Blairsville.

Austin Holman added 12 points for Lumpkin County, and Johnathan Gilreath and Evan Gaddis each pitched in eight.

NORTH HALL BOYS 60, PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN 43: Griffin Olson tallied 20 points for the Trojans in a win over Providence Christian on Tuesday at the Johnson Tip-Off Classic in Oakwood.

Ebo Smith recorded 11 points for North Hall (2-0), Adam Kelly had eight, and Zach Tibbs had six.

The Trojans play host to Lanier at 6 p.m. next Tuesday in Gainesville.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 70, PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN 29: North Hall’s Jordan Nix had 21 points in a win over Providence Christian on Tuesday at the Johnson Tip-Off Classic in Oakwood.

Kensi Gillespi added 10 for the Lady Trojans and Sydney Cleveland had nine.

North Hall returns to action in the Piedmont Invitational tournament against Stephens County at 1 p.m. today in Demorest.

W.D. MOHAMMED BOYS 67, LAKEVIEW 50: Austin Montgomery recorded 24 points for the Lions in a loss to W.D. Mohammed on Tuesday in Atlanta.

Trevor Price and John Cox each added eight on the night.

Lakeview travels to Johnson next Tuesday in Oakwood.
