Zach Mize led North Hall with three hits and three RBIs, while pitching two innings in a 16-5 win against North Forsyth on Friday in Coal Mountain.

Griffin Olson had two hits and two RBIs, Colton Duttweiler recorded two hits and an RBI, and Drew Coker had three hits and three RBIs for the Trojans (4-1). Preston Graham added a hit and a RBI.

Corbin Lewallen was the winning pitcher for North Hall.

The Trojans play host to Fannin County on Monday in Gainesville.

LAKEVIEW 5, ST. FRANCIS 3: Dakota Chalmers led the Lions on Friday in Gainesville, going 1 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs. He also picked up the save with three strikeouts and a walk.

Drake Hollander was 2 for 3 for Lakeview (3-1) with a double and a single, Nick Henderson was 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs, and Jarrett Huge was 2 for 3 with a pair of doubles.

Dallas Deavers was the winning pitcher for the Lions with six strikeouts.

Lakeview plays host to Commerce at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Gainesville.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 3, EASTSIDE 0: Alexis Rebollar notched a pair of goals and an assist for Chestatee on Friday in Gainesville.

Hope Baxter scored the third goal for the Lady War Eagles (6-1-0, 2-0 Region 8-AAAA). Mary Ashley Easterwood also had an assist.

Chestatee faces West Hall in the third-place game of the Northeast Georgia Mountains Cup at 5 p.m. tonight at Chestatee in Gainesville.

WEST HALL GIRLS 2, FANNIN COUNTY 0: Gabrielle Ligas scored both goals for the Lady Spartans on Friday in Oakwood.

Katie Forrester tallied both assists for West Hall (3-2, 1-1 Region 7-AAA), and Kylie Beaman got the shutout in goal with three saves.

The Lady Spartans travel to Chestatee for the third-place game of the Northeast Georgia Mountains Cup at 5 p.m. tonight in Gainesville.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 1, APALACHEE 0: Kayla Robles scored the lone Flowery Branch goal in the 60th minute on an assist from Hannah Kirk on Friday in Flowery Branch.

Elizabeth Bachmann recorded the shutout with 3 saves for the Lady Falcons (5-2, 2-0 Region 8-AAAAA).

Flowery Branch plays host to North Hall on Tuesday in Flowery Branch.

WEST HALL BOYS 5, BANKS COUNTY 0: Max Wilson led the Spartans with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles on Friday in Homer.

Min Kim and Johnny Griffing also won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles for West Hall (6-3, 2-0 Region 7-AAA).

Tatum Scroggs and Austin Dyer got the other singles wins, and Kip O’Kelley and Grayson Kyle won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.

The Spartans visit Buford at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Buford.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 5, DAWSON COUNTY 0 (Thursday): The Lady Trojans got a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins from the doubles teams of Kaitlyn Smith and Courtney Barnes and MaryClare Patterson and Karleigh Dills to get the sweep on Thursday in Dawsonville.

Matalie Oxley, Kelsey McCray and Tricia Dial all pick up singles wins for North Hall (4-0, 1-0 Region 7-AAA).

The Lady Trojans visit Fannin County on Monday in Blue Ridge.

JEFFERSON GIRLS 5, GREENE COUNTY 0 (Thursday): Jefferson’s Abi Muesse at No. 1 singles, Charley Beatty and Olivia Yates at No. 1 doubles, and Kadi Perry and Rheagan Wessels at No. 2 doubles all defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-0 on Thursday in Jefferson.

Tristan McGarity won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Cailyn Diianni won by forfeit at No. 3 singles.

The Lady Dragons visit Washington-Wilkes on Tuesday in Washington.

LAKEVIEW BOYS 5, GEORGE WALTON 0 (Thursday): Lee Allen Martin, Seth Black and Connor Thomas all won 8-0 to sweep the singles matches for Lakeview on Thursday.

The doubles teams of Will Kellermeyer/Grant Hocker and Jeff Walker/Clint Walker got the doubles wins for the Lions.

GEORGE WALTON GIRLS 5, LAKEVIEW 0 (Thursday): The Lady Lions were swept in a series of close matches on Thursday.

Lakeview plays host to Athens Christian on Monday in Gainesville.

Riflery

GAINESVILLE 1135, LITHONIA 995 (Thursday): Led by Kathryn Youngblood’s score of 288 out of 300, the Gainesville High School Naval Junior ROTC Precision Air Rifle Team picked up the win on Thursday to move on to the next round of the Georgia High School Association Area 6 Shoot-Off Championship.

Youngblood’s teammates were Bianca Lejia, Jonathan Alvarado, Dylan Chistel and Talisa Soto.

The Red Elephants will compete in the next round at Parkview on Wednesday in Lilburn.
