Flowery Branch’s Julianne Sutton connected on 9 of 10 shots from the field and scored a team-high 19 points in a 69-31 win against Apalachee on Friday in Winder. Sutton also finished with 13 rebounds.

The Lady Falcons (17-3, 9-1 Region 8-AAAAA) had a 25-10 lead after the first quarter. Taniyah Worth finished with 15 points for Flowery Branch, while Lexie Sengkhammee had 13 points.

WEST HALL GIRLS 59, LUMPKIN COUNTY 30: Avery Prather scored a game-high 24 points for the Lady Spartans on Friday, while Anna McKendree chipped in 10 in Oakwood. West Hall plays host to Johnson at 6 p.m. today in Oakwood.

LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 70, WEST HALL 62: Matt Satterfield scored a game-high 20 points for the Indians on Friday in Oakwood.

Cal Thrailkill tallied 13 for Lumpkin County (7-15, 4-5 Region 7-AAA), Zach Pulley had 12, and Jack Howard notched 10.

For West Hall, Hykeem Bennett scored 17 points, Esteban Ulloa had 15 points, and Dylan Barron added 10.

The Indians play host to East Hall on Tuesday in Dahlonega, while West Hall plays host to Johnson tonight.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 33, LANIER 22: Shikiya Brown paced the Lady Red Elephants with 10 points in a home victory Friday night.

Jasey White added eight points and Breana Fair pitched in seven for Gainesville.

The Red Elephants (14-6, 8-2 Region 8-AAAAA) visit rival North Hall at 4 p.m. Saturday.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 71, LANIER 52: D’Marcus Simonds notched 20 points for the Red Elephants on Friday in Gainesville.

Luke Maddox contributed 12 points, and Jermaine Fleming had eight.

Gainesville (18-2) visits North Hall at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

EAST HALL GIRLS 79, JOHNSON 22: Chelsea Dale’s 28 points powered the Lady Vikings on Friday.

Carly Winters added 16 points for East Hall (11-8), and Kylah Mize chipped in 11.

The Lady Vikings visit Lumpkin County on Tuesday in Dahlonega.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 65, NORTH OCONEE 55: Sadie Cleveland led with 18 points for the Lady Trojans (12-9, 3-2 Region 8-AAAA), while Kensi Gillespie finished with 15 on Friday in Gainesville. Taylor Anne Kelley, Sarah Hollifield and Katie Sayres each scored nine points for North Hall, who hosts Gainesville at 4 p.m. Saturday.

NORTH HALL BOYS 70, NORTH OCONEE 58: Carson Heinen’s 23 points fueled the Trojans (11-11) on Friday in Gainesville.

Brock Wingo notched 15 points, and Harrison Harper had 14. North Hall plays host to Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

BUFORD GIRLS 59, STEPHENS COUNTY 25: Camille Anderson scored 19 for the top-ranked Lady Wolves (17-3, 5-0 Region 8-AAAA) on Friday in Buford, while Corey Staples finished with 12 points.

Buford plays host to Morgan County at 4 p.m. Saturday.

ATHENS CHRISTIAN BOYS 82, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 47: Daniel Fadool had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Lions (12-8, 6-2 Region 8-A) on Friday in Athens. Lakeview hosts Athens Academy at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Gainesville.

NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN BOYS 60, FRIENDSHIP CHRISTIAN 29: Norris Rettiger scored 12 points for the Chargers on Friday in Flowery Branch, while Justin Law added 10 points. The Chargers (18-8) play host to Maranatha Christian on Monday.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 73, DAWSON COUNTY 38: Austin Venable fueled the Leopards with 17 points and 10 rebounds on Friday in Homer.

Zac Orr also tallied a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Banks County (18-4, 7-2 Region 7-AAA).

The Leopards visit Franklin County next Friday in Carnesville.
