The Gainesville High volleyball team defeated Clarke Central (25-17, 25-17) and Heritage (25-15, 25-7) Tuesday night in Athens. Gainesville’s Tanai Watson had 15 kills, Abby Alexander had 12 kills and Savannah Roys had 40 assists and 12 digs. Gainesville (29-9, 6-0 Area 8-AAAAA) visits Winder-Barrow for a tri-match with Apalachee at 5 p.m. today.
