Drew Adams and C.J. White each hit home runs to lead the East Hall baseball team to a 7-6 win against Union County on Saturday in Blairsville.

Adams and White each finished 3-for-4 for East Hall.

Union County (2-1) was led by Blake Gowder, who went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double.

Union County visits Flowery Branch at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday.

UNION COUNTY 10, GILMER 5: Brady McCarter went a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs to lead Union County past Gilmer on Saturday in Blairsville.

Dalton Everett also went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and Chaiz George hit a two-run home run for the Panthers.

WHITE COUNTY 12, HABERSHAM CENTRAL 2: David Sosebee pitched six innings and tallied 11 strikeouts on the mound for the Warriors (2-0) on Saturday in Cleveland. Sosebee only allowed two hits to the Raiders.

Dylan Lee led White County at the plate with four hits and a home run. Sosebee had three hits and two RBIs for the Warriors.

Montana Saine had two hits and drove in a pair of runs for White County.

White County visits Habersham Central at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Airy.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 12, SAINT FRANCIS 2: Ralston Cash connected for two home runs, six RBI’s and four hits for the Lions (1-1) on Saturday in Alpharetta. Logan Jones had two hits and a double for Lakeview, and Dalton Munday was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Taylor Simpson earned the win for the Lions on the mound and also had two hits at the plate.

Lakeview Academy plays host to Mount Pisgah at 4:30 p.m. Monday in Gainesville.

JACKSON COUNTY 14, FOREST PARK 8: Zach Stitcher had two hits, a double and drove in a pair of runs for the Panthers on Saturday in Jefferson. Rob Williams finished with a pair of hits, a double and four runs for the Panthers (3-0).

Kelly Moates had a double and three RBIs for Jackson County.

JACKSON COUNTY 12, JOHNSON 2: Williams finished with three hits, three runs and a pair of RBIs on Saturday in Jefferson.

Trey Sorrells, Quinn Grogan and Moates each added two hits for the Panthers.

Jackson County visits Johnson at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Oakwood.

Golf

NORTH HALL BOYS TAKES SIXTH: The Trojans boys (321) finished sixth overall out of a field of 20 teams at the Coal Mountain Invitational on Saturday in Cumming. Landry Haynes, a senior, finished ninth overall out of 120 golfers with an 18-hole score of 76 for the Trojans.

Jackson Berry shot a 79 for North Hall.

Peachtree Ridge won the event with a team-total score of 303.

North Hall plays host to Lumpkin County on Tuesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.

Soccer

CHESTATEE GIRLS 1, WINDER-BARROW 1: Kelsey Neukum scored for the Lady War Eagles on a shot from 30 yards to tie the Lady Bulldoggs with 14 minutes remaining in the game on Saturday. Chestatee visits Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Park.

MILL CREEK BOYS 3, FLOWERY BRANCH 2, (OT): The Hawks scored a goal with six seconds left in overtime to beat the Falcons on Saturday in Flowery Branch.

Brandon Lloyd scored a game-tying goal for Flowery Branch (0-3), which took a 2-1 lead in the second half on a goal by Phillip Abrahamsen and assisted by Edgar Madrano.

Flowery Branch visits Pope at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Marietta.

WEST HALL GIRLS 10, LUMPKIN COUNTY 1 (Friday): Tania Perez scored three goals and Rachel Kline scored twice for the Lady Spartans on Friday in Oakwood.

Alyssa Hall, Shannon Mundy, Monica Pascual, Jessica Dambach and Mari Del Rio each scored once for West Hall. The Lady Spartans play host to Buford on Tuesday in Oakwood.

WEST HALL BOYS 4, LUMPKIN COUNTY 0 (Friday): Hector Rodriguez, Chandler Ligas, Israel Guzman and Alejandro Aguilar each scored for the Spartans in Oakwood. West Hall plays host to Buford on Tuesday in Oakwood.
