The East Hall volleyball team is back-to-back Region 7-AAA champions, after wins Thursday night over Lumpkin County (25-20, 25-17) and West Hall (25-21, 25-21) in Gainesville. East Hall’s Minette Maldonado had 25 kills and 13 digs, Summer Lindsey had 19 digs and Savannah Thellman had 33 assists. East Hall (34-13, 5-1) hosts the first round of the Class AAA state volleyball tournament Wednesday in Gainesville.
