The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team failed to overcome a 30-28 halftime deficit and fell to George Walton 64-51 on Thursday in Gainesville.

Austin Pearson had a game-high 17 points and Matt Askounis added eight points for the Lions (2-3). George Walton had four players score in double figures in the victory.

Lakeview hosts Towns County at 8:30 tonight.
