GAINESVILLE GIRLS 45, WINDER-BARROW 33: Skikiya Brown scored 11 points and Taylors Hawks added nine for the Lady Red Elephants (2-1) on Saturday in Winder. Winder-Barrow’s Jasmine Lyles led all scorers with 13. Gainesville returns home to face Heritage at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
BUFORD GIRLS 71, TIFT COUNTY 41: Corey Staples scored 15 points for the Lady Wolves (3-1) on Saturday in Buford. The Lady Wolves host East Hall at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
CHESTATEE GIRLS 56, EAST HALL 51: Bridgette Kelly scored 19 points as the Lady War Eagles (5-1) overcame an early 10-point deficit to defeat East Hall on Saturday at the Lady Vikings’ gymnasium. Kayla Watson (12 points) and Deanna Bradberry (11) were also in double figures for Chestatee. The Lady War Eagles trailed 17-7 at the end of the first quarter but pulled ahead 20-19 going into halftime. Chestatee hosts Gilmer at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. East Hall goes on the road for a 6 p.m. game at Buford on Tuesday.
EAST HALL BOYS 74, CHESTATEE 60: Tristan Cooper led the Vikings (3-2, 1-0 Region 7-AAA) with 18 points, while Keevan Davenport added 14. The Vikings travel to Buford on Tuesday for a key region battle at 7:30 p.m.
EAST HALL BOYS 81, NORTH HALL 45: Caleb Holtzclaw scored 18 points for the Vikings on Friday at East Hall High. Tristan Cooper and Kyvon Davenport added 14 apiece. Brock Wingo led North Hall with 14 points. The Trojans host Banks County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
JACKSON COUNTY BOYS 63, WASHINGTON WILKES 59: Senior Xavier Harper and sophomore Antonio Strickland each scored 17 points, and the Panthers scored 46 points in the second half to overcome a 26-17 halftime deficit on Saturday in Washington. Jackson County travels to Elbert County on Tuesday.

APALACHEE BOYS 78, FLOWERY BRANCH 64: Cody Dewing scored 20 points for the Falcons (1-3) on Friday in Winder, but Flowery Branch hit only 9-of-23 free throw attempts. Apalachee pulled out the victory with the help of 13 three-pointers. The Falcons face Cedar Shoals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Athens.
