Gainesville’s softball program swept games against Johnson, 10-1, and Lakeview Academy, 14-1, on Saturday. Kara England earned the win in Game 1 with six strikeouts from the pitching circle, while Kayla Street had four strikeouts to earn the win in the second game. Offensively, Street led the way with four hits and three RBIs, while Whitney Ledford had three hits and a pair of stolen bases.
