The Chestatee High softball team defeated West Hall and Flowery Branch, but fell to Gilmer and Lumpkin County in the Lanier Point Invitational this weekend at Lanier Point Park in Gainesville. On Friday, the Lady War Eagles beat the Lady Spartans 10-3 in the opener for both teams. Following losses to Gilmer and Lumpkin County, Chestatee bounced back Saturday to defeat the Lady Falcons 5-4.
