Buford sophomore Bria Bush pitched the defending state champion Lady Wolves (7-0) to an 8-0 win in their home opener against Jefferson Monday night in Buford. Bush (4-0) pitched all six innings, giving up only one hit and striking out four in a game that was called due to the mercy rule. Freshman Drew Puckett went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and a run scored for the Lady Wolves.
