Andrew Fogarty drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Jackson County to a 6-5 win over Oglethorpe County on Friday. Nick Corso led the Panthers at the plate with three RBIs, a stolen base and a run scored, Ben Brissey was 1 for 3 with a double and Joel Ellis finished 1 for 3 with an RBI. Chris Griggs earned the win pitching with eight strikeouts and no runs allowed on three hits over six innings. Jackson County (19-7) visits Blessed Trinity in the first round of the Class AAA state playoffs next Friday in Roswell.
