Jacob Poston led Dawson County’s boys to a team Region 7-AAA cross country title with a time of 15 minutes, 33 seconds on Thursday at Unicoi State Park in Helen. Dawson County, North Hall, Greater Atlanta Christian and Union County all advanced boys squads from the region meet and will move on to the state run in Carrollton on Nov. 4-5. North Hall’s Tommy Johnston (16:01) and Devan Crow (16:15) finished second and third behind Poston’s top finish.
