The Gainesville High boys soccer team finished No. 2 in Class AAA and 7th overall in the final Georgia High School Soccer Coaches Poll of the year. The Red Elephants finished their season with a 19-2-1 record after a 2-0 loss to Woodward Academy in the state finals last Saturday. Riverside Military Academy finished fifth in Class A and the Buford boys finished sixth in Class AA.

The Gainesville girls finished at No.4 in Class AAA. The Lady Red Elephants season ended last Wednesday as they fell 3-0 to Allatoona in the state semifinals. The Buford girls finished fifth in class AA and Dawson County finished eighth.
