The Falcons outscored the War Eagles 18-1 in the first quarter and never looked back en route to a 57-45 win Friday at Chestatee High.

Kevin Kanca led Flowery Branch (1-1) with 18 points, while Marquise Wise chipped in with 11 points.

Cole Morgan scored 18 points and made four 3-pointers for Chestatee (1-3). Keelan Passmore added 13 points for the War Eagles, who host Lakeview Academy at 5:30 p.m.

Flowery Branch hosts North Hall at 5:30 p.m. tonight.
