Buford High senior Alysha Rudnik signed a national letter of intent Wednesday to play college softball at Georgia Tech.
Rudnik is a catcher who helped lead Buford to its third straight state title.
Heading into the state tournament, Rudnik was enjoying a senior year where she had a .470 average, six home runs, seven doubles, 32 RBI and 28 runs scored.
Rudnik was the Georgia Coaches Association Player of the Year in 2008 as well as a two-time all-state and all-county pick.
She also considered Florida State and NC State among other schools.
