High school tennis: Flowery Branch boys, girls top Dacula 5-0

Drayton Matus was the No. 1 singles winner in Flowery Branch’s 5-0 win against Dacula in straight sets on Friday (6-0, 6-1). Earning the win in No. 2 doubles for the Falcons was Nathan Holley (6-0, 6-4) while teammate Caden Caldwell won in No. 3 singles (4-6, 6-3, 10-4). Winning in No. 1 doubles for Flowery Branch were John Hollis/Jack Thomas (6-1, 6-0), while Gunnar Hetzel/Brody Millwood won in No. 2 doubles for Flowery Branch (6-0, 6-0). Flowery Branch moves to 5-0 for the season.  

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 5, DACULA 0: Olivia Correa won in No. 1 singles for Flowery Branch in one set (7-5). Olivia Nance claimed victory in No. 2 singles for the Lady Falcons (6-0.6-0). Also winning for Flowery Branch was Alyssa McSpadden in No. 3 singles (6-0,6-0). In No. 1 doubles, the duo of Alicia Quast/Kendalle Quast won in straight sets for Flowery Branch (6-2, 6-0). Earning the win in No. 2 doubles for the Lady Falcons were Brenna Martin/Jenna Lawerence (6-3, 6-1). Flowery Branch improves to 5-0.
