High school golf: Dubnik's even par 71 leads North Hall girls team to first ever Area 3-3A championship

For the first time in school history, the North Hall girls golf team claimed first in the Area 3-3A Golf Championship held at Chestatee Golf Club in Dawsonville on Tuesday. The Lady Trojans shot a 250 at the event, led by Mikayla Dubnik’s even par 71. Dubnik was the individual champion, beating out second place by seven strokes. 

North Hall also got strong scores from Willow Hill (86) and Lyric Sanford (93) who finished fifth and sixth respectively. 

With the win, the Lady Trojans qualify for the Class 3A State Championship, which will be held at Arrowhead Pointe Golf Course on May 21 and 22 in Elberton.
