HALFTIME: Freshman QB Baxter Wright has Gainesville ahead against Forsyth Central

Freshman quarterback Baxter Wright scored on a run of 9 yards in the first minute of the game and orchestrated a 92-yard scoring drive before halftime as Gainesville leads Forsyth Central 21-14 at halftime in Cumming. 

Wright is making his first start for the Red Elephants, in place of senior Gionni Williams. 

Naim Cheeks capped the late second-quarter drive with a 16-yard run. He scored on a run from the 3 in the first quarter.
