University of Georgia sophomore and Gainesville High graduate Spencer Ralston carded rounds of 3-under-par (68) and 1-over par (72) in the Mason Rudolph Championship on Friday in Franklin, Tennessee.
At 2-under par, Ralston stands alone in second place and one stroke behind co-leaders John Augenstein (Vanderbilt) and Davis Shore (Alabama).
Through his last 11 rounds, Ralston has carded a combined 22-under par. The former Red Elephant's best finish this season was an 11-under par at the Linger Longer Invitational at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro.
This weekend, the Bulldogs opened with rounds of 5-over par (289) and 18-over (302) and stand in sixth place at 23-over par through 36 holes.
Third round play is Saturday.
