The Georgia Coaches Association released the preseason polls for softball Thursday.

Three of the top four teams in Class AAA come from Region 8-AAA. Oconee County, White County and Walnut Grove were ranked second third and fourth, resectively.

Buford, the four time reigning champion, was ranked number one in Class AA. Union County, who lost in the state championship game last season came in the number four spot.
