The team of Stand Davidson Jr., Richard Strickland, Doug Van and Don Rogers took first place as the Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played at Chattahoochee Golf Course this week. Second place went to Gene Weschler, Joe Roberts, Johnny Nix and Jerry Johns, with the team of Randy Gordy, Tom Sexton, Gene Cobb and Cleve Brown taking third. Closest to the pin winners were Strickland on No. 3 and No. 17 and Davidson on No. 5 and No. 12.

CMGA: Glynn Rogers, Joe Roberts, Ben Brook and Don Sorrell teams up to take first place as the Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two best ball, aggregated net-points game Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.
The team of Johnny Little, Bob Watson and Herb Sckerl took second place, while Paul Payne, Jim Carroll, John T. Smith and Roy Bartlett took third. Four place went to Clay Bartlett, Gary Palmer, Ed Pledger and Bill Sutton. Closest to the pin winners were Carlyle Cox on No. 3, Jim Carroll on No 5, Weschler on No. 12 and Palmer on No. 17.

DPG: Dave Jetter (+6) took first place on Wednesday and Denis Jordan (+5) earned top honors on Friday as the DPG played matches at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
Steve Knowles was second (-2) on Wednesday, while Horace Smallwood took third with at -5.
Terrence Dale (E) placed third Friday, with Jetter and Smallwood tieing for third at -2.
