Jimmy Lloyd, a North Hall graduate and current member of the Wallace State Community College golf team, tied for second-low medalist in the Jim Redgate Invitational during the last week of September at Briarwood Country Club in Meridian, Miss.

Lloyd finished the tournament with a 1-under-par 215 and Wallace State took first place with an overall score of 875 in the three-day, par-72 event.

Lloyd carded rounds of 72, 72 and 72 for Wallace State, which resumes its fall schedule on Nov. 1-2 at the NJCAA District IV Championship Preview at Alex City.
