JOHNS CREEK — Habersham Central senior Lee McCoy came out as champion at the 2012 Exide Technologies Junior Open at The Country Club of the South. McCoy shot a 2-under-par 70 in the first round, and was the only player in the boys division to finish both rounds under par after carding a 1-under-par 71 in Sunday’s final round. Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association, the Exide Technologies Junior Open was a 36-hole stroke play competition at The Country Club of the South.
