England earns Royal Lakes championship
Fired 76 during the final round

Chris England shot a final-round 76 and finished with a three-day total of 219 to win his seventh Royal Lakes Championship on Sunday at the course in Flowery Branch. Led by a first-day 70, England finished two shots ahead of Grant Cagle (221) and three in front of Jared Cagle (222).

Garnett Smith earned the women's championship with a two-day total of 165. She shot an 80 during the final round to win by seven strokes ahead of Elizabeth Stauffer (172). Judy Davies placed third (184).

In the men's blue tee division, Bud Chandler won with a two-day 144, two shots ahead of Greg Hurley. Three players tied for victory in the white tee division.

In flight one, Mike Buchanan won with a two-day 137, and Pat Smith won in flight two.

Creighton Davies won the gold tee division (137).

Pam Walton won the ladies red tee division in a playoff against Pat Kilgore.
