Piedmont College senior Sada Wheeler grabbed her sixth Great South Athletic Conference Player of the Week Award this season to close out the conference awards for this year. In a pair of pivotal GSAC games this week, the East Hall grad dominated starting with 22 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks in a comeback win over LaGrange.

Later in the week, she added 26 points, 19 rebounds and seven blocks in a road loss to arch-rivals Maryville.

For the week she averaged 24 points, 15.5 rebounds and six blocks per game. Wheeler is currently second in the conference in points (16.2), first in rebounds (12.3) and first in blocked shots (4.3).
